Creative Inspiration ~ A Path of Creativity Has Been Placed Before Us

God's Holy Spirit enables us to experience the Creator God's glory & light first hand. How does this relate to our artistic creativity? We are taught about true life when we touch Christ's passionate love for us. God is the Father of all. God is the beginning and the end. He is the creator of all that is seen and unseen. We are made in His own image in order to glorify all that He is to us. How can we glorify Him in the surroundings He has placed us in?

Scripture speaks of the veil of the temple being torn from top to bottom by the hand of God at the moment Jesus breathed His last human breath. The veil separated the outer Court from the Holy of Holies, where God spoke to his people through the high priest. It was four inches thick and at least twenty feet tall. Think about that ~ Through Christ's passion and death, God in all His Holiness broke forth from brick and mortar and will now live in your heart if you want Him to.

"Now we see a dim reflection in a mirror; but then we shall see face to face." I Corinthians 13:12

Now, in our hearts we are capable of seeing what God sees, albeit dimly, but then clearly when Jesus comes again. Reflecting on this we become compelled to free the Creator's, before unseen, almost magical and mystical images from our minds and hearts allowing them to be revealed to others in picture, sculpture, word, dance or song. Meditate on His indescribable love for you and see what He communicates to you. Will you be compelled to duplicate it in an art form? You may find joy in His gift to you and others may find that same joy upon viewing your artwork.

If you would like to know more about Jesus and why He came to live among us, please call or email, 508-697-2226; info@covenantsanctuarystudio.com. You're welcome to visit a Trinity Covenant Church service or function anytime. We invite you to visit the website www.trinitycovenant.net for the schedule of events.

Please Abba Father let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart bless Your Holy Name.

In His Service,
Helen Stone
